Old Town private parking ordinance
New signs will help visitors find the parking structure, lots, and Old Town destinations faster. Council Member Stewart also pushed for signage pointing to the underused public gravel lot near the Stampede, which staff will address with a temporary branded sign.
New Alcohol Use Permit System
The city is looking at requiring an Alcohol Use Permit for certain alcohol-related land uses, written into the zoning code. The Planning Commission has now recommended it; the City Council will decide whether it becomes law.
Animal-keeping setback reduction
A new ordinance would let equestrian property owners in Meadow View and Los Ranchitos keep barns and animals closer to property lines — 25 feet instead of 75 — fixing problems created by the 2022 update.
